1. Don’t forget to bring the right clothing! Hiking boots, raincoats, beachwear? Depending on the time of year and areas you visit these will likely be necessities.
2. Don’t group Wales with England. Wales is its own country and the Welsh people have different traditions to English.
3. Learning Welsh isn’t necessary. Almost the whole population speaks English and you will have no problems communicating. Although learning some words will be appreciated!
4. Don’t expect a densely populated country! There are a few major cities but much of the country is greenery, seaside and there are many small towns and communities within Wales.
